The holidays started out not so well – delayed flight to Amsterdam and missed connection to Marseille and all next flights to Marseille fully booked. In the end I had to spend over a day in Amsterdam instead of heading out to ski. At least the hotel breakfast was good.

Nothing like running across the bay from a large coal stack to remind ourselves that Helsinki is far from using clean energy everywhere.
I had to relearn how to walk properly on icy ground. It’s all in the legs and the balance.
I distinctly remember the ground being covered in snow during last year’s Independence Day.
Had a work meeting at the airport. Interesting, I guess. Save an hour or so of travel to those arriving by plane.
