I can’t quite remember how the idea for this smoked salmon/leek lasagna came about but it was definitely a great idea!
We know that they each give a different coloured egg but so far I don’t think anyone has tried to figure out who gives what type… so far.
Every single time I come back from Marseille, I tell myself that I should really, really move back. But living there is not the same as going back for a week’s holiday, is it? Probably Helsinki is also exciting when you don’t live here.
Even though my tendon was quite sore, I still went up my usual running route (not very wise).
It also wouldn’t be a proper Christmas/New Year holiday in Marseille if we didn’t go to the figurine mountain. This year people have outdone themselves! Not sure all the representations are really traditional but A+ for creativity.
We started off the year by a walk along the beach – and some of us decided to go for a swim… I was very happy to stay nice and dry!
We didn’t even have “salat olivier” and didn’t watch The Irony of Fate… we’re leaving some traditions behind.
Funny how sometimes a good sandwich during a roadtrip is the best thing in the world!
Two planes and a couple hours of layover resulted in a grant proposal. I’ll know if it got past the second stage tomorrow.
Those aren’t the best mushrooms out there but they’re edible… and it’s not like we get that many of them in the south to be really picky.
As they say, “y’a plus de saisons, ma p’tite dame!”
It honestly feels like it’s been six months since I was last in the calanques. November was a crazy month.
I post processed the photo and scheduled this post on the 2nd of December and I must admit that I have yet to make this year’s photobook for Christmas. Argh!
Big birds for eating and dinosaurs for hatching!
