Kiwi yogurt (as in containing kiwi, not from New Zealand) – that’s good stuff. What I learnt this week.
I gave in and got a gym membership, mainly because I have three gyms in a 400m radius around my house. The one I chose has a nice “women’s gym” that’s quite nice and quiet in the early hours when I usually go (the general gym floor is also quite quiet but it feels less cosy)… and now I’ve googled strength exercises for runners. What in the world is happening? How long till I hate all gyms again?
Sometimes I think I’m abusing the “hold” system for our library system by always having holds on about ten books (some of which I will most likely not get for another 3 years because there are 245 people in front of me in the queue for 5 copies) but then I remember that we’re allowed up to 100 holds at once… so clearly I am not the worst offender.
Back in Helsinki, the autumn colours were still around – it’s been quite an incredible year in terms of weather, hasn’t it? Now if the snow could just come already…
I do have to admit that we had some amazing leaf colours this autumn. Crazy year it’s been!
I brewed my coffee as usual but this morning it’s tasting especially bitter. Why, world?
We’ve had a few of those days – rainy one moment, pure sunshine the next and vice versa.
Not everything can survive the kinds of winds. That tree was cleared out in less than 24 hours.
Now that I’m thinking about it, the last time I’ve gone for a swim in the Baltic sea was… five years, maybe six, years ago.
Looking back, it’s crazy how much the lake has changed in a month. And soon enough it will freeze over (hopefully).
