This year I didn’t see any lilac on the Glorious 25th of May so I had to do with some that I saw on the 26th.

I always pick the most cheerful books out there…

I had great hopes for this book but it ended up being a disaster – the authors didn’t even make an ounce of effort to talk about anything else besides North America and a very small selection of European countries. Supposedly they couldn’t find enough contemporary records from other parts of the world. I don’t believe they even tried finding them or even asked local researchers for help.

Currently reading “Iron Curtain” – I’ve been reading it for quite some time, very interesting read but quite dense and tough to read.

I’ve read more books already in 2019 than I did in 2016. But I doubt that I’ll ever beat my 2013 number – my all-time record year.

I’m currently reading Charly Wagelius’ book and I now realise what they meant when they said that everything goes faster the older you get – in my mind he only retired a year or two ago…

I just finished that book by Sylvain Neuvel, the Sleeping Giants one, and now I started the second book in the series. Already I’m feeling this second one way less than the first one.

I’m currently reading La Formule de Dieu by José Rodrigues dos Santos (among other books) and I’m having trouble getting past the section where they’re in Tibet and getting a “Buddhism 101” lesson. Buddha’s shoes have not been mentioned. Yet.
