You can see the days when I was really tired or really couldn’t have cared less – that’s when you get random shots of the street that I see during my commute.
What’s the temperature of the sea when there is still some ice in it?
One thing I’m rather looking forward to: lunchtime walks in the sunshine…
The true sign of upcoming spring: gravel, gravel everywhere! (And gravel dust…)
I fear no man but I fear the dust generated by the gravel once everything melts. That stuff kills my lungs…
I try to find interesting captions and/or stories to put next to those daily photos I post but so many times I literally have nothing to write about…
Wintertime archaeology! Or whatever you call that science of studying sediment strata!
Why is it that I am inspired to paint my nails right when I need to do things that heavily involve my hands afterwards (e.g. putting laundry out to dry)?
I did absolutely nothing last weekend and it was both amazing and scary and that is why, folks, I try to have two weeks of scheduled posts always at the ready!
I’m playing a hilarious (not really) game of, “am I tired or am I dehydrated?”. I’m most likely dehydrated.
I’m starting to feel that the winter will be over in a few months. It’s starting to be light again after 4pm!
It’s not a holiday in Marseille if I don’t bring back some shpunderok from the Armenian shop. This one was all fancy with some kind of seeds on the outside.
Pro tip: a brightly coloured coat is easier to find on communal coat racks than a black one.
This is scheduled to be posted in 2019. Knowing myself I probably went to bed at a reasonable hour and was up at 6am and already got an early morning run in.
I sometimes wonder what it’s like studying material physics – ice behaviour and all that stuff. And then I remember just how bad I was at theoretical physics and concludes that it’s probably rather tough.
At any point after 15:45 these days my mind likes to think it’s already 21:00.
The big geese are back. I don’t get them. It’s cold, why did they come back?
A while back, the person behind the Unfuck Your Habitat book/tumblr posted that often the only difference between a clean and messy person is that the clean person will clean up after themselves right away, which results in smaller messes that are easier to tackle. Let me tell ya, remembering to clean up after myself all the time is tiring mental work!
Bought the first part needed for making homemade holiday cards. Now I just need stickers, tons of stickers!
… and it was time to pack for another trip. I am not necessarily the best of packers.
